About Us
Paws Squad Canine Sports Club is a member run, non-profit organization based in the Lower Mainland of BC. We were founded on the principals of fun, socialization and positive training through participation in dog sports, including agility.
Our approximately 15 members range from beginners to masters level agility competitors, some of whom are also dog agility instructors. Many of the dogs we play and train with are rescued or rehabilitated, showcasing the positive benefits of the sport and how any dog who is healthy and structurally sound can enjoy agility!
In addition to regularly competing at agility trails, the Paws Squad club offers agility demonstrations with a hands-on experience for audience members to educate and inspire the dog owners of today and the future. Our demonstrations feature a full range of agility equpiment and a variety of dog breeds. In addition to the agility equipment, our demonstration also features a highly entertaining relay event and the chance to meet and greet the dogs and handlers. We've entertained crowds for years at the Telus World Ski & Snowboard Festival in Whistler, at fundraisers for local charities and at community events like the UBC Barn Raising. We've held demonstrations to assist local shelters and attended local pet shows.
If you have an event that would benefit from an agility demonstration please contact us.
