Paws Squad is a non-profit dog agility club that focuses on fun with our four legged family members!
We are a relaxed group with an emphasis on positivity and camaraderie. We hold member-led club practices throughout the year, participate in a variety of demos for festivals and events, and hold a two-day trial once a year outdoors on grass.
We welcome new members and encourage novice teams to join us.
In addition to regularly competing at agility trails, the Paws Squad club offers agility demonstrations with a hands-on experience for audience members to educate and inspire the dog owners of today and the future. Our demonstrations feature a full range of agility equipment and a variety of dog breeds. Our demonstrations also feature the chance to meet and greet the dogs and handlers. We’ve entertained crowds for years at events like the Telus World Ski & Snowboard Festival in Whistler and the Dunbar Harvest Festival in Vancouver as well as at fundraisers for local charities and at community events like the UBC Barn Raising. We’ve held demonstrations at seniors homes and palliative care centres to bring the experience to those who can’t come to us!
